Bolton Solicitors Secure Over £160,000 In Compensation For Three Injury Claims Victims

October 17th, 2011

As solicitors in Bolton we recently acted for Mr B, a local Taxi driver who had an accident whilst taking his son shopping. The case was dealt with on a No Win No Fee basis. The third-party driver denied he was responsible for the accident, denied he had caused any damage, denied he was using his Mobile phone whist driving and denied he had caused Mr B any injuries.

After a 3 day Trial was heard at Manchester County Court before Recorder Benson QC, he found 100% in our clients favour. Mr B was awarded over £15,000 in compensation.

We also acted for a passenger who was traveling in what turned out to be an uninsured drivers vehicle, who was unfortunate enough to be involved in a serious accident, leaving him with very serious injuries to his leg. Mr K was training to be a mechanic and the injuries affected his ability to pursue his chosen career path. The case was successfully settled for a sum in excess of £130,000.

In another case Mr O was electrocuted whilst at work. He suffered injuries to the nerves in his arm, resulting in him having to retrain to a desk job. He received over £17,000 in compensation.
