Vibration White Finger

Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) more commonly known as Vibration White Finger (VWF) is a condition caused by the frequent pro-longed use of hand-held vibrating tools. Raynaud’s syndrome can also be a term used to represent discoloration of the fingers and hands.

Examples of such hand held tools causing VWF are:

  • Jackhammers
  • Stihl saws
  • Vibrating rollers
  • Wackers
  • Drills
  • Powered saws
  • Grinders
  • Polishers

Examples of industries in which the use of hand-held vibrating tools is common are:
